Wrist pace band

Cut on the dotted border, fold, and tape. Optional: cover with clear tape for sweat resistance.

A4 pacing sheet

Use this as a quick reference. In tough conditions, pace by effort, not by watch pace.

Execution reminders

  • Start controlled for the first 3–5 km (avoid early surges).
  • Focus on checkpoint times (10K, half, 30K, 40K).
  • If hot/windy/hilly: aim for even effort, not even pace.

Pace band FAQ

What should I put on a pace band?

Most runners do best with key checkpoints: 5K, 10K, half, 30K, 40K, and finish. Keep it simple so it’s readable under fatigue.

Even pace or negative split?

For most runners, a mild negative split strategy is safer: start controlled, then gradually lift if you feel strong after 30K.

Can I share a pace band with someone?

Yes — click “Copy share link”. Anyone with the link will load the same goal time + layout settings.
